Last week I was in central Sydney on business and afterwards I had time to visit a beautiful place I had not been to in a while, the Chinese Gardens at Darling Harbour. This is an exquisite little piece of serenity in the middle of Sydney's waterfront.
Pay a few dollars to enter then enter another world. The path to the left takes you around the lake, past some pavilions, up the mountain to the waterfall and down to the tea house. It's gorgeous. Here's a link
This was taken leaning out of the Boathouse Pavilion. It could have been straighter but I would have fallen into the water..
