The wonder of small things

I love macro. Take a photograph of a flower on a greenish blue succulent that grows like a weed, blow it up and wonder at the beauty of the tiny flowers and seed pods.

Or la little bug munching on a leaf.

I want to get myself a 100mm lens for macro... These were taken with my 24-70mm.. It's on the wish list..
Do you see beauty in ordinary things with the help of a camera?

Val.

  1. macro is fun! I especially like the insect. Very fine details in the insect itself and fine bukeh in the background.
