I love macro

If I could afford to buy a high powered microscope, attach a camera, then photograph the exquisite detail of the natural world I would. But one step at a time. I've been experimenting with dandelions, white backgrounds made of typing paper and a hand held torch and I came up with this.

Do you like it?

xx Val.

  2. So was that a torch in one hand camera in the other Val, or did someone hold the camera for you? Looks brilliant against the white background, delicate!

  3. The camera was on a tripod and set on a two second delay. This left my hands free to arrange the dandelion and hold the torch. Thanks for the nice comment!

  4. I think your torch has yellow light. It gives the sees a golden look. I do that sometimes. I also use small lamps that are colored. Like the small ones for bikes. I have white red and blue. That kind of lamp gives a colder light to the object. You can use it in different directions too. And then: Link it up with my meme "NF Catching light". I open it on Mondays.
