More Sydney, the UTS building and tunnel

I don't live in the centre of Sydney but further out. I now work even further away from Sydney, zooming down the western freeway to work, but on my days off I seem to be heading into Sydney, getting to know places I haven't been or exploring well known places with my camera. A place I know well is the stretch between Central Station and Sydney University. In between these two landmarks is another distinctive building, the University of Technology or 'UTS'. The first photo is the underground walkway from Central to Broadway, the second and third photos are reflections of people walking past the glass walls of the UTS.

Futuristic Sydney

Hi there. You can click on photo to enlarge.

Building and more building

A little monochrome to finish.

I was in the city yesterday on a drizzly overcast day. Perfect for taking photos of futuristic shiny buildings. I'd taken the train to Wynyard then walked down York Street through the walkway to King Street Wharf. It's a paradise for architecture, construction and of course reflections.
Have a good weekend everybody,

Sydney Reflections

My city is back to normal. It's midwinter, our quiet time as far as tourism goes. In spring the Asian wedding parties will be on our foreshores again, and people from what seems like the whole world will flock our beaches but for now it's feels like it's just my gleaming city.

Reflections in a perspex barrier along the Cahill Walkway, Circular Quay, top photo and the walkway itself bottom photo.

Have a good weekend,
